Origin of Santanera

The restaurant was born from the collaborative efforts of nine friends with a shared vision – including two skilled Colombian chefs Andres Beccera (previously Movida in Australia, Relae in Denmark, Els Casals in Spain) and German Rincon (Leo Cocina y Cava in Colombia, Tetto di Carolina in Australia).

The 160-seat restaurant is sleek, stylish and with contemporary artwork from artist Due Hatue, Santanera effortlessly blurs the lines between Old World and New. By night, this smart-casual Canggu restaurant is a cosy space to graze beneath indoor palms and oversized light shades. The ambience is warm and fun, with plenty of brown leather banquettes, herringbone wooden flooring, and mortadella-coloured marble tables and bar top.

Guests can climb the spiral staircase to enjoy a pre or post dinner drink at La Terraza rooftop bar with signature cocktails, music, and sunset vibes. Stylish and atmospheric, Santanera exudes the promise of an unforgettable night.
